try and find an exercise ya like. i love dancing, some people like running, others speed walking, swimming aerobics (dont worry usually loads of fatter people come to this, so compared to them your bound to look great). anything that you like or are good at like tennis or whatever, try to develop it by going a few times wiht a friend. try and find an exercise buddy to help motivate you. i'm going to start runing and build up to being able to run 30 mins continuously (help! i cant even run down the street). if your interested i'll post my plan on and maybe we could work together and after we've finished and got to the end make another more demanding plan? post back if so xx

I think creating a scrapbook, and filling it with your goals, thinspiration etc etc. and looking at it when you have a lack of motivation really helps.

heya, i think that you need to remember why it is that you want to lose the weight, shell is right in saying to keep a journal or somtin and keep looking at it to remind yourself why your doing it! if you want we can help each other to keep ourselves motivated, i think that what ema surgested about the plan would be great for us to do, and them we can compete against each other and make it our aim to find somtin new to do each month or something! if we all do it together then it may make it easeir, if someone made a section on this website where the person who came out top is written, then it might motivate you to be the best! xx

Hey butterfly,
what did you have in mind as a section for the website? I'll happily make you one if you want but I'm not quite sure what you mean :S

Heyhey, these are the two plans I found.

· Week 1 Run one min, walk 90 seconds. Repeat eight times. Do three times a week.
· Week 2 Run two mins, walk one min. Repeat seven times. Do three times a week.
· Week 3 Run three mins walk one mins. Repeat six times. Do three times a week.
· Week 4 Run five mins, walk two mins. Repeat four times. Do three times a week.
· Week 5 Run eight mins, walk two mins. Repeat three times. Do three times a week.
· Week 6 Run 12 mins, walk one min. Repeat three times. Do three times a week.
· Week 7 Run 15 mins, walk one min, Run fifteen mins. Do three times a week
· Week 8 Run 30 mins continuously. Shocked

Hell I'm going to struggle being even to run the 30 mins one. But thats just the easy squiggly beginning one haha. The first plan is to just build up to the 30 mins run if you've never excerised before so that you dont hurt yourself but I guess some of you will already be really fit (unlike me) but by the end of the second one you should be able to run a marathon (which I have no idea how long is so if anyone could tell me Embarassed ). The second one takes 4 month to complete so this will deff be a dedication thing.

Month one
20 - 25 mins running three times a week for example Mon, Wed and Sat (recommended). Keep the sunday free from running for a 90 mins speed walk.

Month two
30 mins running (a little faster than in month one) including some hills into the running. Do running four times a week for example Mon, Wed, Fri and Sat and keep the sunday free for a 1 hour jog - walking only when you have to Shocked Shocked

Month three
First day of the week (example monday) 30 mins straight running.
One day doing 3 x 1 mile sessions with 5 mins rest after each mile recommended the wednesday.
Another day of 30 mins running on the Fri.
Another day of 30 mins running on the Sat.
Then Sunday - 8 miles running.
Shocked
Month four
20 mins running on a Monday
Weds - 3 x 1 mile of running.
Fri - 30 mins of running
Sat - 20 mins of running
Sun - 16-18 miles run Shocked

Ouch. Haha now that is what I call working it

Hey Admin,
What i meant as a section was that we could use it to say who has come top of the week/month. For example who has lost the most weight or done the most excercise, and that might make people try harder so that they can be the best! like a little competition between everyone so it means that ur less tempted to binge or anything! Everyone could write how much they've lost and then perhaps the admin finds the winner and writes the persons name, tho it does depend on everyone being honest! then perhaps the person hu lost the most weight could say what they did and maybe help others see what else they could try! what do u think? Confused xx
