Go for a walk. Research proves that a premeal stroll can help curb your hunger. Even better, it will give your metabolism a boost. So lace up those walking shoes and get moving!
Eat grapefruit. Citrus contains an ingredient called pectin that helps minimize your appetite. (Remember the grapefruit diet!) So try squelching those late-morning or predinner hunger pangs with a grapefruit, an orange or a tangerine.
Drink up. Water helps fill you up, so drink a big glass or two about 10 minutes before you plan to eat.
Brush your teeth. If you're craving a postmeal treat, minty toothpaste will satisfy your sweet tooth, and your mouth will feel so clean that you won't want to nibble!
